All too often people confuse the difference between wisdom and knowledge. People who are constantly "correcting" others with their "knowledge" have no wisdom at all. What they do have is insecurity in their ego and they use their knowledge to try and make themselves look "bigger" and others look "smaller". They, therefore, have no emotional intelligence which is an important component of wisdom. In fact, their "knowledge" conflicts with wisdom.
Forest Gump said, "Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get" and "There's only so much fortune a man needs and the rest is just for showin' off". And finally, "Stupid is as stupid does!" Wow that's a lot of wisdom from a man with so-called inferior intelligence.
Spiritual wisdom is knowing that your way of thinking is not the only way of thinking. Your way of being is not the only ways of being and there are many paths to reach "Nirvana". Everyone must work along their own "karmic path and profile".
Spiritual snobbery is not the road to wisdom. Wisdom always encompasses love, understanding, compassion, allowance, surrender and forgiveness.
It combines intuition, emotional balance, knowledge and discretion. It is never condescending, arrogant, proud, belittling or judgmental. It is the pure reflection of the light within your soul as opposed to simple knowledge which can be anchored in the trappings of your ego. It is light, bliss, and the acceptance of yourself and others. Seek wisdom and you will always live your life in the purest form of your soul's purpose.
Have a Happy Summer.
